Position Tasks

• Responsible for maintaining overseas job opportunities and track project progress, preparing documents for their interview's as per their schedules. They file all project documents in an appropriate database or library, and ensure that all documents are accurate and have been accepted by the Project Manager.
• Project Officers are responsible for maintaining crucial project documents which track project progress. They file all project documents in an appropriate database or library, and ensure that all documents are accurate and have been accepted by the Project Manager.
• Organize Project Meetings: To accomplish their primary goal of providing administrative and technical skills to support a project to success, Project Officers perform many duties.
• Identify Problems or Risks: Being so closely involved in the project, the Project Officer is relied upon to identify any potential issues or risks that could effect the progression of the project. They communicate these items with the Project Manager, and work to identify potential solutions.
• Closely watch the project schedule, monitoring deadlines for each project task. They check regularly that every deadline is still possible, and report any potential delays to the Project Manager.
• Report any major errors or inconsistencies to upper management.
• Entering data into database software and checking to ensure the accuracy of the data that has been inputted.
• Maintain professional and healthy relationship with all HaHuJobs (MinabTech) colleagues

Job Requirement

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information System/ Technology, or related field of studies that fits the position task requirements from a reputable university

Experience:

• 2-3 years of relevant working experience as a project officer is advantageous

Technical and Other Skill Requirements:

• Very professional and ethical appearance
• Excellent Communication Skill
• Effective in email communications (E-mail Literacy)
• Ability to quickly process and organize information
• English Proficiency
• Can encode data with speed and accuracy
• Able to effectively time-manage and prioritize tasks
• Having supervisory skill is advantageous
• Very good written and spoken English and Amharic
• Possess good organizational, multi-tasking and communications skills
• Excellent computer skills, are major requirements including Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and web based platforms or systems
