Job Description
Purpose of the job
Developing strategies for effective data analysis & reporting Selecting, configuring & implementing analytics solutions Leading & developing a team of data analysts
Main duties & responsibilities
- Understand business needs & objectives.
- Define Company-Wide Metrics & relevant data sources.
- Select, Configure & implement analytics solutions.
- Lead & develop a team of data Analyses.
- Oversee all analytics operations to correct discrepancies & ensure quality.
- Extract reports from multiple sources
- Build System to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
- Apply industry knowledge to interpret data & improve performance.
- Keep update on industry news & trend.
- Develop a proactive methodology for effective data management by collecting, analyzing& reporting on different data sources.
- Develop & document the standard data reporting process.
- Coordinate with other teams in report enhancement & modification activities.
- Interact with management, IT, Compliance & performance personnel to gather data management process, & make recommendations for data quality initiatives.
- Assist Manager in establishing data security guidelines.
- Follow Company policies for giving data access rights to employees.
- Maintain best practices to ensure data are appropriately secured from security breaches.
- Determine the root cause for data integrity gaps resulting from previously uncontrolled migrations in order to provide appropriate data resolution & remedy process.
- Provide approval for data implantation during migrations.
- Perform periodic data quality reviews for internal & external data.
- Ensures timely resolution of quires & data issues.
- Work with leadership teams across the company, including sales, Finance & Accounting, to provide key reporting solutions to drive enterprise financial results.
Job Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Experience with Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Strong programming skills
- Experience with big data tools and data visualization tools
Expected Education and Experience
- BA Degree or College Diploma in business or related fields
- Work experience of 2 years & more.
