Job Description
Center for Justice /CJ/ is a non-governmental, non-partisan, and not-for profit human right organization campaigning for the advancement of rule of law, human rights and democratic governance through a mix of advocacy, research and practical programs. It was founded in 2007. Based on the new CSO proclamation no 1113/2019, CfJ has re-registered at Federal Civil Societies Organizations Agency under registration number #0865. CfJ has a mandate to operate at Federal level and all National regional states of Ethiopia .At present, CJ is operating at both Federal and regions such as Oromia and Amhara Regions. Center for Justice works to reform the criminal justice system by: working to ensure that Ethiopia’s penal policy and practice complies with human rights standards and strives towards international best practice.
Period: One year with a possibility of extension based on performance
Place of Work: Head Office/Adama
Job Requirements
Education
- MA or BA in Law or Sociology and Social Work or related field
- Experience: at least three years of CSO experience as Project Coordinator
