Job Description

Job Description: A management accountant works alongside the main accountant to assist in day-to-

day accounting for all partner companies. Key responsibilities include, help create company budgets, monitor income and expenses for each project, prepare internal financial reports, records and accounts to aid managers’ decision-making process in achieving short and long-term business goals. 

Job responsibilities: 

  • Develop and prepare a monthly status report for companies. 
  • Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries, and financial statements. 
  • Undertaking financial administration and internal audits. 
  • Liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues. 
  • Developing and managing financial systems/policies. 
  • Negotiating and obtaining finance for major projects. 
  • Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure. 
  • Creating business strategies to generate company value. 
  • Management of daily banking and reconciliation.  
  • Assisting with month end accounts.  
  • Billing reconciliation.  
  • Revenue assurance. 
  • Provide assistance on details of specific transactions.  
  • Provide Accountants responses to the “Monthly Miscellaneous Report” by giving details of
  • transaction. 
  • Process payments for USA vendors/contractors (not international contractors). 
  • Payroll: 
  • Review/Correct/Approve Employee hours.   
  • Manage employee’s employment forms issuance, record keeping, as well process
  • termination forms if needed. 
  • Manage TSheets (QB Timesheets) access for employees. 
  • Manage Employee reimbursement forms and maintain excel workbook which is shared with
  • Accountants. 
  • Texas Workforce Commission - Be the point of contact for any questions.  
  • Organization of Personal & Business Tax documents. Folder already shared with
  • Accountants.  
  • Keep track any IRS & TX CB&S Letters and forward to Accountants for guidance on response.  
  • Management of Personal Rental Properties income and expenses workbook, already shared
  • with Accountants. 
  • New business formation doc management and forward to Accountants 
  • Agreements management for payment of rent between entities and process payments of
  • rents.  
  • Monitor and report all Account Payables and Account receivable for all LLC’s  
  • Coordinate audits with the billing department for verification and status of pending /
  • received payments.  

Weekly work load: a minimum of 44 hours from late afternoon to evening to a line with Pacific Standard Time day shift. 

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirement:

  • A minimum of BA degree in Accounting, Finance, Management or related fields
  • 4-5 years of experience in similar position  
  • Proficient English, Spanish speaking is a plus 
  • Proven ability to provide high quality information in a timely and professional manner 
  • Experience with cash management, budgeting, and financial reporting 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills 
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook 
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications 
  • Able to work to strict deadlines
