We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for a Retail Center Manager within the Sales and Distribution Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to the EHOD – Retail Operations, the role holder will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Retail shop by providing leadership and guidance to the Retail staff. The role holder will also be responsible for managing all the business processes related to assigned Retail service (sales, service, cash and stocks management and delivery on the set revenue targets).

Job Responsibilities

  • Focuses on achieving maximum performance and driving continuous improvement with the aim of revenue generation.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships and networks with to drive customer satisfaction and drive a positive NPS
  • Achieve set profitability targets by building rapport and working with others more effectively
  • Understands customers' commercial drivers and leverages them in negotiations
  • Applies commercial acumen to maintain a healthy profit margin
  • Cash management
  • Ensure the Retail online shop has adequate stock at all times.
  • Manage and monitor assigned budget. Prepare inputs for budget within the company budgeting cycle.
  • Cost Control – ensure operational expenses are kept within assigned budget
  • Forecasts future customer contact patterns and volumes across contact channels.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience: 

  • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related course.
  • At least 3 years exposure in Sales and Marketing and/or Customer management for major corporate clients, commercially savvy with detailed understanding of the products the company is selling and issues that typically arise.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to be resourceful as well as strong at probing and translating information into insight.
  • Sound understanding of the sales environment and an appreciation of the pressures and drivers associated with working in sales.
  • Excellent brief writing skills – ability to understand the commercial objective and interpret these into a strong and focused creative brief.
  • Strong network of contacts to ensure strategic partnerships are spot on.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizations skills with the ability to work under pressure, and prioritize, often to tight deadlines
