Addis Ababa University, Ethiopian Institute of Water of Water Resources would like to invite qualified applicants for the vacant positions listed below.

The applicants are expected to fully commit themselves to the vision of the University and be willing to teach graduate level education, engage in conducting research and publication, and engage themselves in university and community services. Successful applicants will work as an academic staff at Ethiopian Institute of Water Resources, Addis Ababa University.

• MSc and PhD in Water and Wastewater Treatment// Environmental Engineering/Water Supply Engineering/Sanitary Engineering

• Extensive teaching and research experience in advanced water and wastewater treatment processes such as advanced oxidation process and membrane filtration research, or treatment plant and sewerage design

• An excellent track record in scientific publications in the field of water and wastewater treatment and management

• Experience in acquisition and management of externally funded research/development projects will have a plus

• Experience in PhD and MSc student supervision

• Knowledge of the Ethiopian stakeholders and actors in the water and sanitation sector

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the capacity to communicate effectively with peers, students and stake holders in the application

Salary : As per the organization scale
