Key Responsibilities:

• Developing a company’s communication strategy and wok plans for IMS
• Prepare and manage the organization’s communication budget.
• Planning, writing, editing and production of content for a variety of internal and external communication channel (website content, publications, press releases, manuals and other marketing material that communicates the IMS )
• Work with IMS team members to conceptualize and implement communications strategies and campaigns
• Manage communication outputs as required - liaising with graphic designers, video editors, photographers etc.
• Tracking, measuring, and reporting on the effectiveness of the social media channels
• Identify digital trends and evaluate emerging technologies wherever possible
• Day-to-day management of the social media presence - including publishing content, designing , driving and/ or responding to engagement
• Develop and Organize initiatives and plan events as required
• Maintain digital media archives including photos and videos of IMS / for IMS
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with media
• Research industry-related topics (combining online/digital sources, interviews and studies) to be posted on website blog.
• Create, manage and oversee contents on social media accounts.
• Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts
• Establish a significant and differentiated presence in the market that retains the service or product provider’s image
• Utilizing design elements (Logo, fonts, and colors) to create perception of brand

• Report to Director Communication Manager

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• BA in Communication, Journalism or related filed.
• At least 3 years experience in a communications or marketing role
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the external media situation in Ethiopia
• Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
• Understand the best practices of main social media channels including LinkedIn, Telegram, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube etc..
• Strong communicator who works well independently and with a team
• Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is an asset
• Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communication efforts
• Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
