  • PVC is looking for the highly qualified, skilled, professionals and competent employees for the following positions:
  • Powers and Responsibilities of PVC Vice-President for Academic Affairs (VPAA)

The VPAA is accountable to the President and shall have the following powers and responsibilities:

  • Advises and supports the President on all academic matters of PVC;
  • Coordinates and directs the overall academic affairs of PVC;
  • Supervises the proper implementation of academic policies, rules and regulations
  • (Legislation) of PVC through faculty and campus Deans or any other academic Units;
  • Facilitates the development review processes of curricula;
  • Facilitates the appointment, development and promotion of academic staff members;
  • Makes sure that performance evaluation of the academic staff is conducted regularly;
  • Encourages and supports academic staff members to engage in research work and preparation of teaching materials;
  • Facilitates and coordinates the conduct of academic seminars, workshops and conferences on current social, economic and scientific issues;
  • Assists the President/General Manager in the preparation of the annual budget
  • Performs any other duties as may be assigned to him/her by the President.

Job Requirements

Qualification:

PhD/Assistance professor in the area of Education (i.e. Educational leadership, Educational planning and Management, Administration and supervision…).
