Job Description
Purpose of the Job:
This role is responsible for first-line support of computer and related equipment (Mobile Phones, Tablets+) users across the organization through exceptional customer service skills with a deep understanding of IT support processes and operational efficiency. Also is responsible for ensuring the existing office and associated systems are fully functional at all times, therefore contributing to staff productivity and improving the quality of the ICT services.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, POS machines and scanners. Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks. Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests. Providing IT technical support across EATH.
- Contribute to escalated problem resolution by giving in-person, hands-on support to end users when necessary.
- Manage the overall help desk activities and train, coach and mentor end users.
- Assess need for any system reconfigurations (minor or significant) based on request trends and make recommendations.
- Track and analyse trends in Help Desk requests and generate statistical reports on a weekly basis. Document error logs and create error database as needed.
- Monitor incident trends and anticipate potential problems for proactive resolution.
- Oversee development and communication of help sheets, usage guides and FAQs for end users.
- Provide support for Point of Sales machines, maintain and follow their service date.
- Maintain and update the database for Information Technology Assets of EATH.
- Identify help desk support best practices and solutions in the IT industry and implement as necessary

- Performs other related activities as instructed by immediate Supervisor
Job Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or related fields with at least 1-year relevant experience in ICT Support Position.
