Gambella Water and Irrigation Resource Development bureau intended to recruit qualified professional through One WaSH National program for ONE WASH NATIONAL Program Phase II

Major Duty:-

The Regional Project coordinator working under Water and Irrigation Resource Development Bureau is to facilitate the effective implementation of the Water Supply, Hygiene & Sanitation Program in WASH Sector Bureaus ( Health , Water, Education, BOFED, Women Affairs. Including Woredas and strengthen communications between the different tiers.      

Time Frame and Contract Arrangement   

Duration of the Assignment: The assignment will be for one year with possibility of extension based on evaluation of performance Qualification

The Consultancy is full time assignment and will be contracted for a period of one year with the understanding that the contract will be renewed every year based on evaluation of performance.

The client will: Avail to the coordinator with all necessary data and document available, Facilitate to the coordinator to have access to data and documents available in the government’s WaSH institutions Provide office facilities (space, table, and chair, Provide transportation for field visits, Facilitate and organize stakeholders’ workshop

Job Requirements

Education Qualification and Experience

• The program coordinator to be hired shall have work experience development of Manuals and strategies with a high credit to experiences in WASH Program, Projects and Procedures
• Strong capability in assessment, analysis
• Project designing and Management
• Strong communication on the subject matter, and capacity to prepare training manuals and offer trainings
• Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, management, Economies, Leadership, Accounting, Business Administration and other relevant field with 10/8 years or above experience at least 3 years in project coordination
