Job Description
Invitation to Monitoring and Evaluation Local Service Providers for Roster Development and Capacity Strengthening Opportunity
Ethiopia Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Service (EPMES) Activity, Ethiopia
Social Impact (SI) is a US-based international development management consulting firm. Currently, SI is implementing the Ethiopia Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Service (EPMES) Activity of USAID. The EPMES Activity provides monitoring and evaluation services to the USAID/ Ethiopia Mission, which include external evaluation, performance monitoring technical support and improving capacity for learning and adapting.
EPMES, as part of its responsibilities, is undertaking different activities to strengthen the capacity of Monitoring and Evaluation Local Service Providers (ME-LSPs) so that a core group of institutions is equipped to independently provide quality M&E services to USAID and other donors. For this purpose, as well as to make a list of potential local M&E service providers readily available to USAID/ Ethiopia and other donors, it is important to establish and regularly update a Roster of ME-LSPs including firms, academic institutions, and professional associations who are engaged in providing M&E related consulting, capacity building and system development services in the country. In line with this, EPMES has established a Roster of ME-LSPs in 2016/17 and updating it annually by including more service providers and updating the information of existing service providers. Similarly, it is planning to update the roster in FY2022.
Thus, all M&E - Local Service Providers, who are new or already shared their profile before and who want to be included in the Local M&E Service Providers Roster and that are interested in participating in the USAID capacity strengthening opportunity are invited to provide their basic information
Deadline: Dec 7, 2021
Note: Providing basic information and inclusion in the roster does not in any way mean that the consulting firms are automatically entitled to the capacity strengthening or job opportunities.
