Consultancy Objective

To provide team members the knowledge and skills that are needed to use the Microsoft Access, Excel and Powers. In addition, team members to be able to bring data to life using advanced Excel functions, creative visualizations, and powerful automation features. These trainings aim to equip team members with a comprehensive set of tools for transforming, linking, and analyzing data. Team members will master a broad range of charts and create stunning interactive dashboards. Finally, team members will explore a new dimension in Excel, access and Powers BI. Harnessing the power of an underlying database engine and mastering Power Business Intelligence. 

Job Requirements

• Clear conceptual understanding of the Scope of Works
• Demonstrated 10 years of experience in similar work including in conducting training on Microsoft access, Advanced Excel, Power BI and other Powers for NGO/INGO or Local Authorities. Local presence in Ethiopia and Cross-country experience is a plus.
• Track record (timeliness of delivery) (back this up with at least two copies of official letter)

Quality of proposed staff to be involved in the assignment:

• Demonstrable Knowledge and skills on the use and training of Microsoft access, Advanced Excel, Power BI and other Powers
• Trainers to have at least a BSC or its equivalent in computer science 
• Resource availability and proposed use (training material, staff team, organization structure, geographic outreach, other)

SNV Ethiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. 2% withholding tax will be deducted from the consultant fees at the source and will be paid by SNV – Ethiopia, assuming a TIN number and license can be provided.
