We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for a Retail Workforce Planning & Reporting in the Retail Experience Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

  • Reporting to the Manager-Retail Operations Support, the position holder’s role shall be responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of Regional Sales & Operations workforce development & planning strategies that delivers continuous improvement through headcount management, staff optimization, core system management, internal communication strategies, culture change, employee wellness in support of business strategies and objectives. This applies to the entire Regional Sales & Operations workforce consisting of permanent staff and Safaricom contractors.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day delivery workforce planning and information services
  • Provide subject matter expertise and support as required to Regional Operations, HR team and Regional Sales & Operations staff
  • Liaise with HR to establish a link between the workforce plans and recruitment activity including selecting, orientation, and training.
  • Custodian of all Retail Channel core systems, responsible for access governance and designing of access level matrices.
  • Responsible for information control audits for all Retail Channel core systems in liaison with Enterprise Risk.
  • In charge of the Divisional Internal Communications strategy through bulletins, texts, digital channels and team cascades.
  • Develop and implement medium-term and short-term Resource Planning strategies for implementation in the Regional teams.
  • Development and Maintenance of accurate, detailed and comprehensive employee database.
  • Management of the Division’s Sales Incentive Program for all sales teams.
  • Functional support in Workforce Planning, Leave management and Shift Scheduling for the Retail Channel.
  • Staff Productivity Analysis to drive efficiency, staff optimization and manage HR costs in the Division.
  • Staff Engagement in conjunction with HR and other stakeholders.
  • In charge of Divisional staff events and forums to drive staff engagement.
  • Implement the Retail Uniform Policy – Planning, Budgeting, Purchase, Distribution, Collection and Disposal of the Retail Staff Uniform.
  • Sales force automation technical support (System training, user management and access matrix management)

Job Requirements

Qualification 

  • Bachelor's Degree in business discipline or Social Sciences.
