Essential Responsibilities
- Prepare reserve and liquidity position of the Bank
- Follows up all cheque clearance activities.
- Prepare and countersign on payment instruments after reviewing the requests for accuracy, legality and compliance.
- Post and authorize transactions based on authorization limits set
- Prepare all tax and pension payments and reports.
- Prepare monthly ageing of suspense accounts, depreciation and amortization expenses, rent, and other accounts.
- Prepare monthly tax and pension returns;
- Identify and classify transactions daily based on source documents presented to him/her;
Job Requirements
- Qualification; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or other related fields
- Experience; 3 years of experience in relevant fields in banking industry, of which at least 1 year on direct/relevant position.
Place of Work: Addis Ababa
