Essential Function
- Ensures that the project office is well established and structured;
- Plans, coordinates, leads and controls the overall activities related with construction of headquarter building;
- Ensure that construction works are executed according to the plan and schedule;
- Monitors the day to day construction project management activities;
- Prepare progress report periodically and keep all project stakeholders up to date with project progress;
- Ascertains that key decisions are made on timely basis,
- Ensures that resources are efficiently allocated,
- Ascertain contracts are properly administered and counter checks with the contract administration activities carried out by project consultant,
- Prepares and submit annual budget of the construction project office includes action plans;
- Monitors and maintains project progress, costs and resolve issues where necessary;
- Checks and verify payments to consultant and contractors and forward to Bank’s management for approval;
- Liaises with the bank’s concerned work unit and external partners,
- Checks that governing laws, the Bank’s policies and procedure are compiled within the process of project implementations and,
- Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirement
BSc/MSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology and Management and, any other related fields from recognized universities/colleges with 15/12 years of experience in relevant fields, and experience in specific area is preferable.
