Brief Description

Reporting to the Head of Retail, the position holder role will be to manage the day-to-day Retail Channel operations in assigned shops to deliver Unmatched Customer experience. Provide leadership and guidance to the Retail staff to deliver assigned Touch Point NPS, Operations Excellence and revenue targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Effectively Drive Customer Obsession Initiatives to deliver targeted TNPS in the assigned Region
  • Provide the Positive leadership and  Energy and attitude to the Retail Experience team below them to drive the People and Performance Management agenda within the Region.
  • Drive innovative Regional Retail Sales Tactics to deliver the set Retail Operations KPIS on Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Targets.
  • Drive Effective Operational Excellence Tactics to Ensure 100% adherence to sales, stocks Management and Operations Processes and procedures to drive compliance and ensure Nil Losses or exposure to the Business within the assigned retail shops
  • Drive a culture of Coaching to Grow and Mentor Shop leaders and Retail staff assigned within the Region
  • Drive Operational Efficiency to drive and manage with the assigned Budgets
  • Implement and maintain set Retail Operating Standards
  • Drive customer education around digital adoption and alternative channels for all retail customers visiting the shop as a demand reduction initiative

Job Requirements

Qualifications

  • A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related course. Masters will be an added
  • Must have at least 8 years working experience in a Retail Sales and customer service environment, of which 4 years should be in supervisory. commercially savvy with detailed understanding of the products the company is selling and issues that typically arise.
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Project Management experience will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to be resourceful as well as strong at probing and translating information into insight.
  • Sound understanding of the sales environment and an appreciation of the pressures and drivers associated with working in sales.
  • Excellent brief writing skills – ability to understand the commercial objective and interpret these into a strong and focused creative brief.
  • Strong network of contacts to ensure strategic partnerships are spot on.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizations skills with the ability to work under pressure, and prioritize, often to tight deadlines.
  • Highly results and performance oriented.
  • Excellent team player
  • Commercially orientated with a desire to increase revenues and profitability of the business
  • Must be willing to work anywhere in the country
