Job Description

Job Title: Operation Manager

Our client operating in the tourism, investment, trade and real estate business is looking for a young and energetic building manager to join their team. If you have been working in building management, office management, managing resources and budget, passionate about building management and willing to join a team of diversified professionals then this is the job for you.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Monitor finance, administrative, procurement, logistics, and HR actions, assessing operational risks and proposing mitigation strategies
  • Establish strong operating systems to guide all company operations with the purpose of customer satisfaction, minimizing costs and being in compliance with rules and regulations
  • Ensure operating systems are adapted and maintained throughout the company
  • Supervise the property management department and oversee the operations
  • Collaborate with the relevant departments to achieve goals and objectives of the company
  • Ensure strong relationships are maintained between staff
  • Monitor HR issues such as poor performance, employee dissatisfaction, or staff learning and professional development needs, escalating issues and suggesting solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Finance, Accounting or appropriate field with a minor in accounting at minimum.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role in 
  • Experience in property management is preferable.
  • Experience in systems development and office administration.
  • Prior experience supervising staff.

Desirable Skills:

  • Good understanding of standard Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and finance/accounting software used to track transactions
  • Critical thinker and self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision and within established deadlines
  • Willing to perform assigned and additional duties and work under different conditions
  • Strong systems and strategic thinking skills and ability to set up strong management systems, processes, and tools
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Professional fluency in English and Amharic
