Job Description
Daye Bensa Coffee Export PLC, an Ethiopian company specialized in the production, trading, and exportation of different coffee to expand the worldwide market. The company, established in 2006 is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and currently employs 150 persons.
Daye Bensa Coffee Export Plc is one of the major coffee exporting companies in Ethiopia exporting green coffee directly from its own farm and affiliated farmers. The company operates in the production, trading, and exportation of coffee and its main product is green Ethiopian Arabica coffee. According to the company, their SIDAMO coffee is certified as organic and their coffee is of good quality, sustainable and traceable.
The customers so far have been Europe, USA, and ASIA. The company’s Ethiopian washed and natural coffee has been exported via major global traders such as Volcafe, NKG and Groupimpex. Over 50 % of companies' operations are international.
Purpose of the Job
Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns, collecting and auditing payments. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience within Coffee or other similar products export companies.
Ultimately, provide accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity, and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations and procedures.
