Position: Senior Accountant

Essential Function:

• Prepare reserve and liquidity position of the Bank
• Prepare various reports to be submitted to Management of the Bank;
• Follows up accounts of suspense nature and reports to his/her supervisor.
• Authorizes Records of stock and non-stock items based on Goods Receiving & Issue Voucher.
• Prepare and countersign on payment instruments after reviewing the requests for accuracy, legality and compliance.
• Post and authorize transactions based on authorization limits set
• Prepare all tax and pension payments and reports.
• Maintain fixed asset and stock records.

Place of Work: Addis Ababa, Head Office

Salary: As per the Bank’s scale

Job requirement

• Qualifications: BA in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Management, or other related fields.
• Experience: 5 years of experience in banking industry, of which at least 2 years as an accountant.
