Job Description

  • Key role working at the project area(s)
  • Be a significant contributor to ending avoidable blindness
  • Minimum of 7 days Contract including 5 training days based at selected town in Oromia.

Job Requirements

In order to help us achieve our vision, we are currently looking for the positions specified as trainees to be enrolled for Grader training of trainers with relevant educational background & other Essential criteria include;

  • Ophthalmologists, cataract surgeon, Ophthalmic nurses and other eye health professionals currently working at secondary eye care unit and above.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, International Development, or in a related field is additional
  • Solid experience in international development, public health, and an understanding of the donor landscape
  • Knowledge of and implementation of organizational strategies, systems, processes, and standards
  • Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to support and influence multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-cultural and mixed-language environments
  • Strong communication skills including fluency in written and spoken English & Oromifa and the ability to write effectively for varied purposes and audiences
  • Energy, flexibility and resilience, a team playing approach, and a can-do attitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
