Job Description

Location: Jimma Zone (Limmu district) and Bench-Sheko zone- (Guraferda woreda), Oromia 

  • Select the right participants of household in each survey site based on sampling frame.
  • Collect data at least five household (HH) surveys, one FGD or KII per day. 
  • List, communicate, and make arrangements with study participants to be participated in interview, FGD and HH survey.
  • Actively engage in the communication system put in place. 
  • Make sure all information is understood and clear to every study participant.
  • Identifying how, where, when and by whom the data will be collected with the consultation of supervisors.
  • Make primary check for completeness of questionnaires.
  • Check all notes, records, and forms before handing to supervisors.
  • Submit, process and maintain high quality and valuable data from all sources on time.
  • Return the logistic or property of the organization with full responsibility.  

Job Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • BA or MA in Psychology, Sociology, Social work and related social sciences

Experience:

  • Experience in designing, applying and collecting household survey, KII and FGD method of data collection.

Essential Skills:

  • Skill and experience in computer application and Utilization
  • Oral and Written fluency skill in English, Amharic and Afan Oromo language for Limmu Kosa district and Bench, Sheko, Me’en, Mezhenger, Amharic and English for Guraferda District
  • Have the ability to work with minimum supervision and ability to work with team
  • Commitment to work in hardship with personal integrity
  • Excellent communication skill 

Contract Duration :- From December 27/2021 with minimum 10 working days
