Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD) is an Ethiopian Development Organization established in 2005 and reregistered at Agency for Civil Society Organizations as Ethiopian Development Organization with Certificate no. 0321 under the Proc. No. 1113/2019, with its office at Meskel Flower Road, behind dream liner hotel; P.O. ECDD is now working in six thematic areas where accessibility modification construction work is the main activity in our many projects.

ECDD is currently implementing a project named DRIVE (Disability Right for Increased Voice and Empowerment where it is going to construct modification construction work for

1. Arbaminch - One primary school, one health centers and one polytechnic collages in Arbaminch City
2. Hawassa - Two primary school, one health centers and two polytechnic collages in Hawassa City
3. Wolayita Sodo - Two primary school, one health centers and one polytechnic collages in Hawassa City

Job Requirements

Contractors Licensed in GC/WWC Grade 6 and above are eligible to participate. The License should be Valid for this Year.

NB: Bidder should present the bank advice with copy of renewed trade license, Tax Clearance Certificate, and VAT Registration Certificate is a must. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 1% of total submitted cost, valid for 15(fifteen) days in an acceptable Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO from known bank/company must be submitted on or before 10:00am on Dec 28, 2021, G.C in Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD), Ethiopia, Country office based in A.A, and ECDD Hawassa regional branch office. Bids documents will be filled including technical document, all necessary information and returned to Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development office. The bidder shall seal the original and copy of the bids in separate envelopes, duly marking the envelopes as “ORIGINAL” and “COPY” as appropriate. Each original and copy documents should have financial, technical and Bid bond security in separate sealed envelope. And each sealed document should be enveloped in a sealed master envelop marked Original and Copy separately and both documents enclosed in one single envelope. Lot name that bidders are applying has to be written in every sealed document. A Contractor who is undertaking construction project for Ethiopian Center for Disability and Development (ECDD) and having a performance/progress of less than 80% is not eligible for this bid and Bidders cannot win more than one lot. The aforementioned Office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
