Edge Communication Technologies is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions. 

Purpose of the Job:

We are looking to hire a junior accountant with an analytical mind and fantastic organizational skills to support and manages daily financial and accounting tasks for businesses operations and control the financial transactions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Resolve account payable and receivable issues or queries.
• Accurately perform daily reconciliations of cash, check and credit card transactions, and tally and file invoices.
• Comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for financial statements.
• Assist in financial and tax audits, and general ledger preparation.
• Prepare income tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
• Analyze financial information and prepare balance sheets.
• Ensure compliance with organizational guidelines and procedures, and federal and state regulations.
• Complete end of month close procedures
• Prepare journal entries, and complete general ledger operations
• Monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
• Reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts, draw up monthly financial reports
• Prepare analysis of accounts as requested, and assist with year-end closings
• Administer accounts receivable and accounts payable, prepare tax computations and returns
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts and payroll administrations
• Monitor and resolve bank issues including fee anomalies and check differences
• assist with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures
• Do others assigned by the operations and administrative manager.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• BA degree in Accounting, Economics or related files of study
• 0-1 years of relevant experience
• Computer literate is required
