Job Description

Premier Switch Solutions S.C. (PSS) is a leading Electronic Payment Processing Company, established by major private banks of Ethiopia. The Company has implemented the first multi-institution shared-switch infrastructure to provide its member banks with a state of the art payment technology to drive ATM, POS, e-commerce, Mobile Banking and other payment channels and provide clearing of Debit/Credit card transactions for the banks. 

Currently, PSS has two vacant positions stated below and would like to invite applicants who meet the qualification and required experience listed for these job openings. 

Description of Duties

  • Involve in the formulation and implementation of the Innovation, Business and Marketing & Branding strategies.
  • Involve in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and process documents for the Innovation, Business and Marketing & Branding functions.
  • Involve in the design of both external and internal communication strategies and manage the implementation.
  • Manage all marketing, advertising, PR, promotional initiatives in liaison with work units and execute accurately in timely manner.
  • Identify, approach and establish business partnership with potential partners in Donors, government organs, service providers, financial institutions, Fin-techs, card schemes and international corporations.
  • Organize company events, press release and meetings.
  • Involve in the development of the marketing strategy of new and existing products and services.
  • Proactively communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of products.
  • Develop and review promotion materials to assist business units in marketing activities.
  • Manage the development of a wide range of innovative products and services.
  • Maintain relations with media houses and ensure adequate corporate visibility and coverage of all events sponsored by the organization.
  • Manage the development of tools to facilitate research, proofs of concepts, and roadmap items.
  • Conduct products and services feasibility study, benchmark survey, customer satisfaction survey, marketing, company, industry and country-wide research.
  • Develop and present research proposals to management for approval.
  • Conduct performance metrics.
  • Prepare budget for the work unit.
  • Provide training, coaching and mentoring of employees within the department towards effective career development.
  • Prepare periodic reports

Job Requirements

Qualification & Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics or a related field from a recognized institution
  • At least 8 years’ relevant experience in a Marketing and Communications function
  • Professional certification is advantageous
