Job Description
Our client a global mobility solutions provider is in search of a professional and experienced Onsite Project Lead for their operations in Ethiopia. If you have been working in the program lead, software development, Data architecture and modelling and delivery management and would like to join a team of diversified professionals then this is the job for you.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Coordination with offshore team & local partners during project phase
- Lead the discussion with customer for any new developments asked by customer
- Coordinate and support housekeeping activities along with offshore team
- Support/ coordinate local testing during any changes, overall coordination and support to ecosystem partners on best effort basis, to drive operational review meetings locally
- Ensure smooth Project Delivery
- Own the overall delivery plan to the client
- Ensure offshore teams are sensitized towards the committed dates
- Assist in mapping client expectation to the functionality available in the products
- Participate and lead the governance meeting with customers
- Discuss with the development team the feasibility of implementing client specific customization in the product
- Coordination with offshore support team & local partners
- Support/ coordinate housekeeping activities along with offshore team
- Support/ coordinate local testing during any changes implementation
- Overall coordination and support to ecosystem partners on best effort basis
- Drive operational review meetings locally with customers
Job Requirements
- BSc or MSc Degree in IT, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years relevant experience experience in the telecom industry in similar role
- Experience in the Financial Technology (FinTech) industry
- Proven project management abilities and consumer value management experience
- Excellent communication skills both in English and Amharic
- High level of interpersonal skills
- Demonstrable attitude for teamwork
- Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally
- High level of personal integrity
