The Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce & Sectoral Associations (AACCSA) invites competent applicants for Manager, Internal Audit Service vacant positions:
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of the Board of Directors and the Secretary-General, the Manager, Internal Audit Service is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, directing and controlling the functions of the Internal Audit Service. He/she identifies financial and operational risk areas, reviews and appraises the internal control system within AACCSA to give reasonable assurance on adherence to acceptable standards, policies, procedures, strategies and legal requirements. He/she also discloses growth areas and application problems and suggests solutions for exceptions and problems disclosed. He/she provides regular advisory services to the Board, Secretary General (SG), Deputy Secretary Generals (DSGs), Directors and Managers to ensure that AACCSA’s resources are properly managed and utilized. Also, he/she confirms that all activities are free of corruption and favoritism and all resources are protected from theft and pilferage and utilized to the interest of stakeholders.
Job Requirements
Qualification Requirement:
Education: MA or BA Degree in Accounting or related field
Work Experience: 7 years for MA or 9 years for BA of work experience, out of which 4 years in a supervisory position.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SKILLS
- Strong organizational skills and ability to coach staff in prioritizing workload whilst maintaining a high standard of work
- Computer skills
- Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, ability to work effectively with others at all levels;
- Effective communication skills
