The Ethiopian Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ESOG) would like to invite competent applicants for a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

The Grant Officer will be responsible for

  • Seeking grants for ESOG's projects
  • Writing projects based on various ideas
  • Monitoring new funding opportunities, assisting in business plan development, working with relevant stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality funding submissions
  • Conducting training and sharing practical experience on grant writing
  • Providing mentorship when actual project proposals are being prepared
  • Preparing grant templates and other SOPs
  • Developing and Implementing systems and monitoring procedures to ensure proper stewardship of funds on rewards, awards, post-awards, and closeout

Job Requirement

  • MD or BSc in Public Health with MPH or Obstetrician and Gynecologist
  • Grant seeking experience for projects and related experience
  • Writing and managing projects
  • Utilizing online resources in seeking grants for projects
  • Experience and Information of NGOs and the Development Aid sector in general, both locally and abroad
  • Good command in the English Language is writing and verbal communication
  • Basic Computer program skills: Microsoft programs and statistical software
