Educational Qualification and Experience

• MA/ BA Degree in Social Sciences, Child Development, Development Studies, Education, Sociology, Social Work or other related sectors.
• Five/Eight years’ experience in which three/five years minimum experience in Program/ Project management of NGOs. 
• Experience of managing complex and large project budgets and partnership management.
• Experience and a solid understanding of working across triple nexus and adaptable programme management.      
• Previous experience of managing and developing a multi-disciplinary team including implementing partners.
• Experience in developing and implementing Urban Development, Youth participation in governance, Youth socio-economic Empowerment, Protection from urban violence, Disaster Risk Management, Education in emergencies and SRHR projects.
• Experiences of working in national alliances, networks and advocacy strategies pertinent to youth engagement and youth participation in governance and other relevant thematic components relevant to the programme.
• Experiences with civil society strengthening and working with youth-led groups and youth-led initiatives and tools incl.  social accountability processes led by youth.

Knowledge

• Extensive knowledge on youth participation and inclusive governance, CSO strengthening, youth friendly services
• Knowledge of Urban Development, Youth participation in governance, Youth socio-economic Empowerment, Protection from urban violence, Disaster Risk Management, Education in emergencies and SRHR projects
• Knowledge of partnership management and networking
• Understand organizational principles, systems and have the ability to provide leadership and support to staff working at community level.
• Understanding of integrated development issues, participatory approaches to development, child-rights programming, participatory Monitoring, Evaluation and Research systems and processes preferred.
