Edge Communication Technologies is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following positions. 

Purpose of the Job:

We are looking to hire graphic designer who can combine brand standards, color theory, graphic elements, and typography to make audiences do both.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designer, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Communicating with clients about layout and design.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites with software such as photoshop.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
• Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule, Create and design various materials for print and digital collateral
• Study design briefs and determine requirements, schedule projects and define budget constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements,
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Managing client proposals from typesetting through to design, print and production
• Working with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
• Determining size and arrangement of copy and illustrative material, as well as font style and size

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• BA degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related files of study
• 1-2 years of relevant experience 
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent IT skills, especially with design and photo-editing software
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS, Knowledge of Adobe Photo Shop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
