Bakery Chef

The Bakery Chef is responsible and managing his / her assigned bakery operation as a successful independent profit center, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction, through planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the bakery operation and administration.

Job Requirements

Educational background:

• Certificate in Catering, Culinary Arts, or Food Preparation with experience in assisting Executive Chefs or Chefs as a Sous Chef in commercial kitchens or hotels

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years work experience as bakery/pastry Chef de Partie or 3-4 years as bakery/pastry Demi Chef de Partie/ Commis in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards; preferably with experience in luxury international brands.
• Qualification in bakery Production or Management will be an advantage.
• Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential.
