Job Description

In Ethiopia, Plan has more than 25 years of experience in implementing its programme. Currently PIE mainly operates in seven geographical areas; Amhara, Oromia, SNNPR, Gambella, Benishangul Gumuz, Afar, and Addis Ababa City Administration on different projects funded by different donors including sponsorship.
The post holder is responsible for project design, overseeing implementation and monitoring while ensuring quality program delivery of the overall child protection in emergencies program activities including interventions among host communities. She/he ensures integration as well as smooth teamwork within and across other county programs at the Program Area level. Key components of the position also include regional advocacy and networking, strategic thematic area planning, developing and strengthening partnerships, manage the protection budget at the program area level and mainstreaming of child centered community development.
Contract Duration: Six months with possible extension
