Job Description

Specific duties and responsibilities

  • Lead the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date financial records of the Bank to ensure quality and timeliness of financial reports;
  • Monitor payments to ensure they are made in accordance with acceptable procedures and for authorized transactions and approve as appropriate;
  • Monitor and coordinate the timely reconciliation of accounts and settlement of payments and outstanding items;
  • Monitor the overall procurement activities of the Bank and ensure the quality, the safe custody of procured materials, and timely supply of same;
  • Monitor the provision of different kinds of facilities are provided to all organs with quality and timely;
  • Monitor that properties of the bank are registered, accounted for, and disposed as the case demands;
  • Ensure that the maintenance of immovable properties of the Bank done as per the schedule and all insurable properties get the necessary insurance coverage;
  • Lead the acquisition of land for construction, construction contract administration and supervision, and payments;
  • Monitor branch internal layout modifications, construction and subsequent payments requests;
  • Lead the development and execution of the treasury management system to provide efficient and effective fund management, investment and share administration, and currency management;
  • Lead capital management and capital rising of the Bank;
  • Coordinate the interface among the procurement, warehousing and property Administration processes.

Job Requirement

Qualification & Experience: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related fields with a minimum of 10 years work experience in banking sector, of which a minimum of 4 years shall be as department (director) manager or equivalent.

ACCA qualifications is preferable
