We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for a Principal Officer - Reward in the HR function. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to the EHOD – Reward & Organizational Effectiveness, the position holder will be responsible for monitoring the remuneration structure while maintaining an effective balance between cost control and the need to remain competitive. The role holder will also monitor the market and competitor analysis of salary rates and benefits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Participation in the annual salary surveys, interpretation, and analysis of results for reward structuring proposals to the leadership team.
  • Drive recognition programs on annual and quarterly basis on companywide and departmental level
  • Provide support to the HRBP’s during the annual salary review cycle regarding the performance and reward discussions with the line managers.
  • Managing the People cost Budgeting cycles for forecast and detailed budget (2+10,5+7, 9+3 and DB)
  • Monthly people cost budget/actual variance analysis, reporting and communication to various functions
  • Liaise with EHOD Reward & OE in the design and review of short-term incentive schemes in line with the Sales strategy and liaison with the relevant stakeholders.
  • Review Reward and Compensation Policies in collaboration with the relevant functions.
  • Manage roll out of annual Total reward statements and related communication.
  • Reward education and communication through companywide awareness sessions on bonus and salary review process
  • Manage the implementation of annual bonus and salary review proposals in line with approved guidelines.

Job Requirements

  • Graduate from recognized university with postgraduate qualification in HR, Finance or Business.
  • 5 years Compensation and Benefits experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Proven ability to self-start and effectively manage multiple assignments
  • The ability to work under pressure and be resilient and tenacious to get results
