Senior Manager, Agency Banking Business Development and Support

Job Summary

  • The role holder is also responsible for developing and maintaining profitable customer relationship with Agents, identify new prospective agents and ensure terminal deployment when necessary, identifying business practices/needs and recommending solutions that allow for achievement of financial goals and objectives of the Bank.

Job Requirements

Academic & Professional Qualification

  • BA degree in marketing Management, Management, Business Administration or other equivalent field.
  • MA degree in Marketing, Banking, Finance or Business; with strong IT skills or Research or any other equivalent field is an added advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of nine (9) years relevant experience out of which two (2) years in supervisory post
  • Exposure to alternative channels institutions/direct sales operations would be an added advantage

Required Technical Competency

  • Experience working cross-functionally to develop new ideas and products.
  • High-level understanding of applications used in the organization's industry.
  • Experience and knowledge of how to adapt project management processes to organization's product life cycle.
  • Strong knowledge of the Bank’s clients and their needs.
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of industry trends and their implications for the Bank as well as events in fast-paced markets.
  • Good knowledge of banking regulations.
  • Adequate knowledge of Banking and finance (local and international).
  • Corporate and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to lead, influence and drive change initiatives in support of business strategies within the department/unit.
