We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for a Sustainability Manager, ESG and Human Rights in the External Affairs & Regulatory division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.
Detailed Description
Reporting to the EHOD – Sustainability & Foundation, the position holder will have specific responsibilities for our Environment Social Goals (ESG) and Human Rights programmes. Also to drive the development and implementation of a robust STEM-level risk management framework that aligns with industry best practice and appropriately captures environmental, social and business integrity risks.
The individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining policies, related environmental, social and integrity risk management tools (systems and controls), developing training programs, and driving value additionality initiatives across the company.
In collaboration with legal and compliance professionals, they will also responsible for overall Human Rights risks management across the company, ensuring relevant Global Partnership for Ethiopia policies are consistently applied and implemented, and adapted to the Ethiopia context as relevant. The individual will be a key point of contact for the Lenders/Shareholders on ESG matters and will be responsible for meeting all relevant ESG reporting requirements.
