SKILLMART International College is an accredited private higher education institution. The College is part of SKILLMART Educational Development Share Company. The Share Company is the first education based share company established with the aim of providing high quality education from kindergarten to tertiary education. It was organized by professors from Addis Ababa University and other educational institution lecturers who are experts in the field. We believe that our organization will do an exemplary job in the education sector at all levels. Currently, the company has got accreditation to offer Master’s program (MSc in Project Management, Analysis and Evaluation, and MSc in Accounting and Finance) at Addis Ababa Campus. Moreover, we have also accredited to offer Master’s programs (MSc in Project Management, Analysis and Evaluation and MBA) and Degree Program (BA in Accounting and Finance and Marketing Management) in its Bahirdar Campus. Now, our College is selling shares (starting from ten thousand birr) to the public and expanding its branches to regional cities and plans to commence online Master’s programs. Hence, we need highly motivated and experienced junior accountant to Addis Ababa Campus

Job responsibility:

•  Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

• BA degree in Accounting and Finance 
• Work experience is preferable
