Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a National Civil Society Organization (CSO) aspires to see all marginalized children properly fostered. The organization has four major programme areas; Child Development, Gender and Life Skill Development; Skills and Entrepreneurship Developmentand and Lobby & advocacy . DEC works in three National Regional States of Amhara, Afar and Oromia and Addis Ababa City Administration. DEC would like to recruit on the following position: 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the planning and implementation of Emergency Responses, Post distribution Monitoring and Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) projects,
• provide administrative and logistical support during project implementation and responses. 
• Ensuring timely and effective implementation of all DRR activities
• ensure effective, coordinated and streamlined preparation and response to humanitarian emergencies and provides operations support
• Coordinates Humanitarian Projects in all targeted areas.
• leads and coordinate humanitarian response and preparedness interventions and engagements;
• Supports and leads development areas/Clusters to ensure minimum standards on Humanitarian priorities planning and implementation
• Actively engages in developing Humanitarian related quality control framework
• Contribute to the development and timely submission of written reports, including funder reports and oral presentations on the project. Prepare periodic update reports on project successes, challenges facing the project, and progress toward meeting deliverables.

Job Requirements

• MSc in sociology and social administration
• At least 3 years experience in similar work 

Required Skills

• Good report writings, use of technology application skills
• Good communication skill
