About the Position

Dexis is looking for an experienced Civil Society Expert for USAID/Ethiopia’s anticipated Strengthening Ethiopian Civic Voice and Agency opportunity. The program seeks to strengthen Ethiopia's civic fabric by supporting collective action by civic actors to advocate to and engage constructively with government in order to create more inclusive, accountable, and citizen-responsive policy and governance processes.

 Responsibilities

The Civil Society Expert will provide guidance and advisory support to civic actors to improve their capacity, operations, programming etc. S/he will also facilitate collaboration between key stakeholders, including civil society, private sector, and government counterparts, related to the activity objectives.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in communications or relevant fields
• 6-8 years of relevant professional experience;
• Familiarity with Ethiopian media outlets and communications; (4) strong network of Ethiopian civic actors and government counterparts.
