About the Position

Dexis is looking for an experienced Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Director for USAID/Ethiopia’s anticipated Strengthening Ethiopian Civic Voice and Agency opportunity. The program seeks to strengthen Ethiopia's civic fabric by supporting collective action by civic actors to advocate to and engage constructively with government in order to create more inclusive, accountable, and citizen-responsive policy and governance processes.

 This position is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities

The Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, & Learning Director will lead the project’s M&E, knowledge management, and capacity building objectives. S/he will advise COP and DCOP on project performance, learnings etc., which will inform project refinement and future implementation.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social science, international development, or a relevant field;
  • 8-10 years of experience in M&E of governance / civil society programs;
  • Experience with USAID’s CLA approach;
  • Experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods, data analysis, sampling techniques and establishing M&E systems for USAID programs.
