Job Description

Purpose of the job:- Support in making sure the overall recruitment of the company is conducted as per the company standard and the annual plan. Submit different type of reports.

Key Responsibilities

1.1 Pre-employment

  • Follow up the posting and shortlisting of vacancies on employment agency website and postings on other internal and external media
  • Screen shortlisted candidates’ resumes and report based on the basic recruitment criteria before it is sent to the hiring department and the Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs)
  • Contact candidates for written exam, online test and interview as per the given plan and provide results for hiring manager, or Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs)
  • Conduct interviews as briefed by line manager
  • Follow up the candidates’ reference check with their previous employer and make it part of the hiring decision

1.2 Employment

  • Share details of new hires and give all the necessary documents to Human Resource Administrator for proper documentation
  • Prepare and give out employment and other related letters (promotion, transfer, termination...)
  • Conduct employee induction for all new hires
  • Follow up probation period of new hires and give probation confirmation letters for successful employees
  • Work closely with the HRBPs to handle recruitment related issues and make sure recruitment approvals are done as per the standard time period
  • Work closely with the HR Director in establishing good relationship with educational and other relevant institutions

1.3 Reports

  • Maintain organized and complete report of new hires, terminations and Promotions and share to finance department for payroll preparation before the payroll cutoff date. Send same report for Human Resource Administrator
  • Prepare weekly recruitment report
  • Handle other tasks as assigned by line manager

Job Requirements

Education

  • BA degree in Management, Business Management, Public Administration or other related business fields.

Experience

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in HR or Administration related functions.
  • Experience in recruitment and on boarding is preferable.

Languages

  • Excellent communication skill in English and Amharic.
