Position: HVAC and Electrical Engineer
Responsibility Description:
- Manage the on-site progress of the customer’s project and focus on fulfilling the project commitments, including communicating with the initiator and stakeholders.
- Manage issues, risks, dependencies, and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Follow up work plans, timelines, resource plans and status reports to ensure smooth project progress.
Knowledge and skills:
- In depth knowledge of building electrical engineering including: low voltage distribution, medium voltage distribution (11-33 kV), UPS, batteries, rectifiers, generators and diesel fuel systems, ELV system design and integration such as closed circuit television, access control, data networks and fire/detection systems. Mechanical HVAC system integration and design, load assessment, including associated electrical solutions.
- · Current and emerging industry standards (Including Uptime Institute, TIA 942 and Local Standards) and a strong knowledge of vendors and technologies associated with data center facilities.
- · Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, Revit and industry standard electrical modeling software.
- · Proficient in building codes, codes and standards throughout Northern Africa. International projects and project experience is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects at the same time and good project management skills.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor Degree or above in HVAC or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of electrical engineering experience in medium to large and complex projects (data center, mission critical and industrial projects experience is preferred). Center projects in preferred.
- English and Chinese Language skills
