A Holding Company (HC) is under formation in the form of private limited company with the main objective of becoming an umbrella organization for diversified business entities engaged in manufacturing (vehicles assembly and manufacturing, textile and apparel production, water and juice bottling, fish processing and power and communication cables production); Agriculture and agroindustry; and services (Aviation, construction, real estate, hotel and tourism, export, import and domestic wholesale and retail trading).

 The HC under formation would like to invite qualified candidates to apply for the positionof Chief Operations Officer (COO). The COO shall report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. The COO principally shall be responsible for overseeing operational aspects of the HC and companies under it, as well as, creating the management practices that enable a high performing and effective executive team in the HC and group companies under it. The COO shall further drive the development, refinement, and implementation of business strategy of the HC and all companies under it.

The COO must have highest level of integrity and ethics. He/she shall:

1. be a natural communicator able to motivate and align staff at HC and companies under it through open and honest communication that is backed up with personal action;
2. have ability to work through others to achieve corporate objectives;
3. perform with a sense of urgency, results orientation and demonstrated thought full but deliberate execution skills;
4. have an entrepreneurial spirit with ability to act and implement; and
5. be a robust and confident personality who adapts well to changes.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and experience

• Second degree or above in engineering (preferably, mechanical, electrical, automotive or similar fields) or MBA or similar degree in business leadership, management or similar field. Degree in marketing and sales is a plus.
• A minimum of ten years experience, out of which five years in hands on direct experience in progressively senior managerial positions in leading and managing manufacturing, agricultural, services or group companies.
