We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Marketing Manager within the Enterprise Business Function in Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below.

Detailed Description

Reporting to the Executive Head of Product, we are looking for a person will be responsible for owning, developing and managing through-the-line marketing campaign(s) for our main product portfolio. This includes promoting key products, solutions, and segment marketing activities across various communication channels that will drive demand, sales, and positive value perception. This role will have full responsibility and accountability for the Fixed and Mobile portfolio marketing budget.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage key relationships with agency, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment of key initiatives and outputs.
  • Work closely with the Chief of Enterprise and Executive Heads to help them drive their strategy, product roadmap, and targets through appropriate key initiatives.
  • Establish key relationships with media stakeholders, identify relevant media platforms
  • Position key team members as Subject matter experts
  • Identify customer networking sessions, using a round table approach. Identify other related tactics
  • Developing through-the-line marketing campaigns that communicate the portfolio value proposition across all customer segments.
  • Work with product team and indirect sales to build and launch a specific SME proposition .
  • Identify relevant marketing properties to build brand awareness and increase sales opportunities
  • All campaigns, promos, events must have clear KPIs, be executed on time, and drive quantifiable return on marketing investment.
  • Align and project manage multiple marketing activities to reinforce consistent Brand communications.
  • Skill and creativity that is applied to developing insightful and consistent marketing content to build Safaricom Business brand equity, share, and net promoter score (NPS).
  • Management of assigned budgets to ensure efficiencies and cost savings by challenging partners or suppliers to move beyond the usual and think outside the box.
  • Actively manage all 3rd party outsources relationships as per SLAs and as per the policies and procedures stipulated by procurement.
  • Ensure that sales and other departments have the correct templates
  •  Identify and launch various digital engagements LinkedIn, Twitter, website, etc. Build a digital presence for EBU.

Job Requirements

  • Creative Content Go-to-market Execution
  • Cloud Technology understanding

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Equivalent
  • Technology or Telecommunications experience 2-3 years
  • B2B Marketing experience advantageous
  • Budget owned: Responsible for Marketing
  • Budget spend following segment/product/event allocation
  • Minimum 8 – 10 years marketing experience
  • Digital marketing experience advantageous
