We are pleased to announce the following vacancy for Enterprise Business Support within Enterprise Business Unit in Safaricom Ethiopia. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated.

Reporting to the EHOD: Enterprise Operations & Planning, the Enterprise Business Support will manage the key needs within Enterprise Business Unit. To plan and provide support in building Enterprise relationships, execute on identified tasks, and provide local insights within the Ethiopian business acumen.

 Roles and responsibilities

Key accountabilities and decision ownership: Enterprise Strategy

  • Develop, define and implement the overall needs analysis within Enterprise
  • To ensure request enterprise/demand are carried out in line with organization’s strategic goals and based on defined parameters
  • To initiate and participate and contribute to ongoing business activity relating to enterprise customers and enterprise internal stakeholders
  • Determine how the Safaricom will carry out its mission and vision through long and short range planning

Digital Transformation across Enterprise Business

  • Oversee all interactions and items driven by Group and impacted stakeholders.
  • Contributes to develop the overall EBU strategy
  • Re-set and rethink our ambition as we progress in the transformation
  • Foster and build relationships within Enterprise Business
  • Develop and Implement agile adoption.
  • Monitor external trends to assess current focus and identify new areas
  • Manage Enterprise office and support Enterprise Team (Product, Operations, Commercial, Sales)

Project Operations / Customer Facing / Business Support

  • Organize special events through enterprise customer engagements (Exhibitions/Visits)
  • Develop a stakeholder database with alignment from EBU Ehods
  • Manage the internal relations within Regulatory, Legal, Marketing and Supply Chain Management
  • Manage both local and Safaricom led projects
  • Adopts an annual budget and provides fiscal oversight into Safaricom operations
  • Develop a project dashboard which will outline the key projects in the EBU, status and project risk
  • Establish project governance and reporting guidelines to better manage projects in the EBU
  • Develop and maintain a project and enhancement Methodology aligned with business priority
  • All processes and procedures of the departmental (CheckPoint Process)
  • Coordinate the development of SLA between business units
  • Evaluate project performance and overall organization performance
  • Provide business support and arrange customer visits for Safaricom

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing
  • Project Management certification will be advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Customer Relations, ICT, Telecommunications
  • Good communication skills. Fluent in English and the main languages in Ethiopia
