Job Description

MEPO Contracting & Management Services PLC is a member Company of MIDROC INVESTMENT GROUP and established in December 2008 by the renowned investor Sheik Mohammed H. Ali Al-Amoudi. The company has been engaged in the supply of construction materials, rental of construction equipment & construction of buildings.

We invite qualified applicant for the following vacant position: 

Summary of Duty & Responsibility:

Under close supervision of Supervisor, General Accounts, collects and disburses cash at sales/purchases. Reconcile petty cash payments with cash on hand. Deposits cash and checks at Bank. Ensures safe custody of cash on hand and cash documents at all times.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  •  Collects cash or check from customers and deposit to the bank daily.
  • Withdraws from Bank, Petty Cash Fund and effects cash payments upon verification of Payee’s identity and signature; maintains records of amounts disbursed.
  • Prepares Petty Cash book and reconciles cash payments with cash on hand at the end of each working day.
  • Prepare replenishment of Petty Cash when level of Cash reaches minimum.
  • Prepare CPO (Cheque Payment Vouchers) Forms and Cheque for approved payments; makes approved payments to Payee against authorized documents.
  • Collects Withholding Tax Receipts from Customers and attaches them to the Cash Receipt Vouchers.
  • Prepares Withholding Tax Receipts for Vendors or Services providers based on the approved payment.
  • Stamps “Paid” on all approved documents and writes corresponding references on stamped documents.
  •  Timely Inform uncleared suspense accounts / advances to the supervisor
  •  Operate Cash Register Machine
  • Maintain the unused printed pre-numbered payment vouchers of the Department
  • Performs all related duties as required.

Required Qualification and Experiences:

  • College Diploma or Degree in Accounting & Finance.  
  • Three years and above experience.
  • Operating Cash Register Machine.
  • Computer knowledge especially MS-Word and MS-Excel
