Job Description
Purpose Statement
IT Administrator is expected to ensure availability of system, network and other IT infrastructures. Provide support to end users by liaising with global support staffs.
Responsibilities
- Manages all servers, database and system of the company in coordination with Global IT office
- Ensure availability of network all the time
- Liaison with Ethio telecom, EPCO and other stakeholders
- Backup data & manage network security
- Set up user accounts for new recruits and give maintenance services as requested
- Ensure availability of systems all the time
- Overseeing network infrastructure, system functionality & resolving system issues
- Ensuring security & efficiency of IT infrastructure through access controls, backups & firewalls.
- Install & configure software, hardware & networks.
- Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers
- Monitor effective integration of systems
Job Requirements
Qualifications
- MSc or BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Computer & Electrical Engineering or Related discipline.
- 3 years for MSc or 5 years for BSc related experience
- Experience in SAP ERP system
- Experience in the FMCG industry is a plus
- Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection system) & data backup/recovery
- Excellent communication skill
- Professional IT certification are a plus
- Familiar with various operating systems & platforms
- Proven experience as System Administrator, Network Administrator, Database Administrator or Similar role
