Julphar Pharmaceuticals PLC is a joint venture between Gulf Pharmaceuticals Industries (Julphar) U.A.E and MEDTECH Ethiopia, which is involved in the manufacturing of LIFE SAVING Drugs for the local Ethiopian market use as well as for export. Julphar is looking for new candidates with big ambitions, potentials and commitment to improve the quality of life for our end customers. 

Job Summary/Main Purpose

Local Purchaser is Responsible to carry out the job of all the Purchasing activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Under the guidance of the Supply chain Manager, the Local Purchaser shall carry out the following duties:

• Negotiates price, places orders, inspect deliveries including quotation procedures
• Prepare price evaluation and forward to Procurement committee
• Purchasing different material from the local market as per purchase request
• Provide purchase order to customers
• Keeps suppliers data and conducts regular search for alternatives
• Receives and checks delivered materials
• Provide all purchasing related documents to finance
• File documents with completed transactions as per the organization standard
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly/ quarter report as needed
• Perform other related jobs when instructed by the immediate Supervisor.

Job Requirements

Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Attributes)

• Diploma in purchasing and supply management, procurement, Accounting and related field of study and three years of work experience on purchasing.
• Dedicated and willing to work under stress full condition
• Excellent role player in motivating teamwork and organizing skill
• Basic Knowledge of Operating computer
