Detailed Description

Reporting to the Senior Site Acquisition Expert, the role holder will be responsible for timely completion of project milestones under his/her scope

Job Description

The position holder will work closely with cross-functional team members to deliver ‘client-side’ applications for the various digital channels (Web, Mobile and Chatbot). They will handle the analysis and implementation of user stories and UI/UX mock-up designs into real-world applications by applying software engineering best practices and agile methodologies in their delivery. 

Key Responsibilities

  •  Acquire sites in line with network expansion plans within set company’s rental benchmarks
  • To ensure that property contractors are kept abreast with new projects & technology.
  • Facilitate site meetings with landlords and various government institutions
  • Receive and upload lease documents to finance payment tool for landlord payments and permit
  • fees payments
  • Facilitate site lease signing, registration and payment processes
  • Plan and monitor daily/weekly SAQ activities as well as outputs.
  • Manage vendor counterpart person and teams to achieve set project targets from both schedule, budget, and quality point of view.
  • Input SAQ start criteria, completion as well acceptance criteria with coordination with other project parties like NWP, design, quality, CW, and telecom implementation.
  • Plan, manage and monitor project SAQ related communication, meetings, reporting’s, and documentation are being executed as required.
  • Follow up latest industrial developments to find most feasible, qualified, and quick infrastructure solution.
  • Plan and manage needed vendor and subcontractor resources with continued follow and audit.
  • Validate and confirm site basis BoQ.
  • Participation in preparation and finalization of SAQ Contract related Annexes
  • Participation in Project resourcing related to SAQ and Implementation.
  • Establishment of fluent Customer Relationship with Customer’s and Vendor/Subcontractor SAQ teams
  • Responsible for Site acquisition of land and building for tower installation for network rollout projects including permitting works within the whole project.
  • Ensuring that the SAQ, permitting works are completed in accordance with requirements of customer, country regulation & local authorities guidance.
  • Coordinating with NWP and CW Managers to ensure timely and accurate completion of required tasks.
  • Ensure document control and storage system set up and used properly. Check file system and audit content of document system to make sure all SAQ, permitting folders prepared properly for site handover.
  • Verify and solve the problem of vendors for acquisition and site build activities.
  • Manage the Coordination, scheduling and tracking of site visits and technical team visits with various departments.
  • Participates in progress meetings and provides SAQ, permitting reports. Participating in meetings with local authorities.
  • Controlling vendors regarding SAQ, permitting works on the sites. Initiating and leading meetings with vendors for analyzing the progress, highlights & challenges.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Town Planning or Building Science
  • A certificate in real estate, surveying will be an added advantage
  • 2-3 years working with property/base stations
  • 1 year Project Management / co-ordination experience (Essential) 
  • Excellent MS Office skills especially on Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Understanding of basic telecommunications principles 
  • Legislation in Land Ownership, usage and permitting requirements
  • Understanding of geographical maps
  • Knowledge of Town Planning environment
  • Understanding of basic business principles 
  • Construction regulations (Desirable)
