Job Summary:
The Ethiopia Poverty Reduced Sustainably in an Environment of Resilient and Vibrant Economy (PReSERVE) Collaborating, Learning, & Adapting (CLA) Specialist will support the overall CLA approach and research dissemination, under the direction and supervision of the CLA Team Lead.
PReSERVE will empower learning at the woreda-level through technical learning teams who will be formed during the refinement phase to tackle key problems and share findings across woredas. Gender and youth integration will be pushed out to the woreda level through semi-annual workshops with learning teams for gender and youth. These teams will identify problems and challenges with guidance from the GYSD and will pursue learning as laid out in the learning agenda accordingly.
The CLA Specialist will have a key role in this approach by preparing and disseminating research and learning findings in interactive formats, and facilitating reflection, learning and planning activities. The CLA Specialist will disseminate highlights of meeting minutes in written form, while including report-outs on learning in routine team meeting agendas and ensure knowledge management policies are followed for all research and learning deliverables. The CLA Specialist will travel throughout project areas to organize and facilitate in-person and virtual woreda-level and zonal learning workshops.
