Job Summary

As a Social Media & Digital Marketing Officer, you are a point of contact for high quality posts on social media including Online Reputation Management, content, strategy, and the daily upkeep of active social channels. A Social Media & Digital Marketing Officer Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:.

Specifically You will must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Setting up and managing your hotel’s social media accounts and replying to guests’ comments and reviews in a timely manner,
  • Ensuring all negative TripAdvisor reviews (1-3 reviews) are responded to and providing respective departments with operations insights,
  • Incorporating social media into your hotel’s marketing strategy and into all marketing campaigns as deemed appropriate
  • Being aware of communications from the Hilton Social Team when it comes to crisis communications, announcements and social media recommendations,
  • Following enterprise and brand guidelines and best practices to optimize your social media presence, while paying close attention to legal guidelines,
  • Posting on each social media channel as frequently as possible in order to keep channels active and consistent,
  • Empowering guests or unfamiliar travelers with resources and information about your property and local area

Job Requirements

  • B.A. Degree in Marketing, Sales, Communication and/or other relevant fields of study,
  • A Minimum of Four years hands on experience in Social Media advertising or related,
  • Excellent communication skills,
  • Very good Graphic Design skill
  • High level of IT skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent organizational and administration skills Committed to delivering a high level of customer service, internally and externally,
  • Excellent grooming standards & Ability to work under pressure
